Update for March 2008
It has been 3 month since I have posted anything, and while that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been doing anything, it does mean that I have been neglecting this blog (*of course haiyya…).
Here is a quick update on everything going on in my life, for those of you come-by-chance visiting this blog.
Work
Hupfff… Working on one of a new-blown EPC Company in Indonesia is going really great. They are keeping me busy with a variety of things. I assumed that moving to Jakarta would mean more organization than Jogja, but that hasn’t entirely been the case. Jamming of traffic did… haha. I look forward to learn , though at the same time it makes me laugh since I am not the most organized person in the world.
I have realized that as much as I love Hydraulic Engineering (& internet :p), I wanna do something, to integrate that two things. I also really really enjoy dealing with Project Management stuff, especially Project Control. Thats my obsession to develop a web-based application for construction management, and run it on Indonesian project owner. It is fascinating, and I hope to push my way into doing a bit more of that as things progress. (*hah.. focus… focus… !!!).
I am still working on several my own personal projects as well, that is slowly being developed ;((. Seriuosly… Im not serious to make it works. It seems aimless since collided with my social network life & my current job off course. I really hope it works out as well in the real world as it does in my head/imagination. It should be launching (or re-launch) in the May of 2008. A big thanks to all of Hi-see team for the patient and continued support (still rockin’ yeah…).
Relationship/Personal Life
Diajeng Roro Genduk and I are doing really well. Our relation grow up as we make serious effort for our marriage. Thanks to all of our family for their support.
I am so gratefull with her. Mostly our relationship issues stem from our ego, but to be honest, despite the stresses of planning marriage & (her) carrier, it has been working out alright education wise for her, as she continues to get everything she needs to overseas. (That’s the goal anyways…)
So right now we are trying to keep everything as nice as possible so that we can focus on our goals in that respect. Hopefully, it will all work out for us. You really deserves to get to do this hun.
On this 2nd March’s long weekend, Ilma and I are going to do something on Solo & Jogja. Hopefully, everything will go well. I miss my family, I hope see all of them and spend real quality time with each other like being part of a big family on Ramadhan.
I haven’t had too much time to do anything, but I have a feeling 2008 is going to mean a fair number of conferences for me (and you all pal..).
Hopefully, everyone out there is doing alright and I hope you all have a safe and good days.
PS. too much hope :))
